Jim and his wife moved to the Lake of the Ozarks where he took up a new career in Real Estate after 20 years of owning and operating an equipment rental business in Junction City, Kansas. They purchased a home in Tan Tar A Estates where they reside today. In 1999 he purchased and is the Broker/Officer of Estates Realty, which is located right inside Tan Tar A Resort on Market Lane. Jim has no problem living and working in his own back yard because he loves the resort lifestyle, the Lake, golf and everything else the area has to offer. He says it just doesn't seem like work when you can have so much fun and have the opportunity to meet some of the nicest people through listing and selling property at the Lake of the Ozarks. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our friend, colleague and neighbor, Tom O'Keefe. He was a great asset to our sales team, and an inspiration to our nieghborhood. Everyone in the Tan Tar A Community remembers Tom, and our heartfelt sympathies go out to his family and wife Liz. You will forever be remembered with a golf club in your hand, or bbq tongs at our Association dinners; fond memories that will last forever.
Tom joined the Estates Realty team in September 2002. Prior to coming on board Tom retired from John Burroughs, a private school in greater St. Louis, Mo. area, where he was a devoted Football Coach and Math teacher. Tom and his wife Liz have been home owners in Tan Tar A Estates at the Lake of the Ozarks for almost 20 years and caring about the community, over the years he has held many directors positions on the Property Owners Association.
